1962 Piper Colt for sale tear drop into kfzy. see www.pipercoltforsale.com i approach the field from west at 3500 feet msl or ~ 3000' agl. i cross midfield at 2500 msl and tear drop into 45 to 15.....and then attempt a short field landing. i wanted to get off first exit at about 700 feet but did not want to push the threshold too closely. made it no problem. I attempted to do power off but had to add a little power at the end to make sure i made the the runway without being unsafe. i think i would have made it but it was too close for comfort..... I pulled power abreast to end of runway at 1500 feet msl 1000agl and glided in with calm winds turning left base at 45 degrees over shoulder. so if there were a headwind id have to turn a little tighter if no power in order to make runway. Camera i used was a ordro 4k gimbal i bought on amazon...forgot what i paid but hundred bucks is my guess...... pretty cool camera. not perfect. lighting conditions were poor. but i like it. i get well over an hour on battery at 4k with 64g micro sd. it should do a least an hour and maybe two or more... but id need to confirm. i should have had the camera pointed down more to see all gauges. i have camera stuck in the left temple of my headset.....it sees out windows better than from right.....ill have to try again from that side to see if it sees the gauges well enough vs the right side.
