Thank you for posting this video. Brings back some great memories. My dad and grandfather went to the 1962 fair leaving my pregnant mom and myself (2 years old) at home. Obviously a 2 year old wasn't really going to enjoy it, but I still wish I could have gone. Been to a couple of worlds fairs since. But to my mind, Seattle's world fair was something special. In the following years, my family used to love going to the Seattle Center, as it was called after the fair wrapped up. Riding the Space Needle up to look out over the Sound and all of Seattle never gets old. We'd watch the International water fountain dance to the music playing from outdoor speakers. The bubblator was not quite as exciting as I had hoped. Had class trips to the science several times. Of course, riding the monorail was always a highlight.
