Couldn't agree more. Rolls-Royce have forgotten about their traditional clients in favour of those who want to show off how much money they have but adding as many hideous options and colours as they can think of. The real Rolls-Royce would have refused to build things that they thought wouldn't reflect well on them. Now it's the more vulgar and ostentatious the better. I've had my Silver Cloud III 4 door model since 1982. The modern cars don't tempt me at all.
We had a secret contest going on here at Rolls Royce. We decided to award comment number 42 with a brand-new Rolls Royce Convertible free of charge. Comes complete with a debit card for gas and upkeep for the life of the new owner's life. We've decided to move on to another commenter.
The Mexico Retro radio has been removed, and original interior has been changed. I know this car very well, it was located here in Belgium circa 10 years ago.
I always found it odd that these ultra-luxe, later 1960s vehicles had power window lifts in front, and wind-up windows, in back. Were the tops (hoods) power assisted?
You can see these cars from a mile away and know exactly what it is a Rolls Royce! Sad what has happened to them being made by the bug company! Many of my old employees got there start pounding out body panels for these cars.
@@gailbrocksom433 In the Burke's Law series made in the 1960's there were two identical Rolls Royce series two cars used (I have no idea why), THEN in the re-make of the series in the 1980's the Rolls Royce used in THAT series was Gene Barry's own private car. I don't believe he was Jewish, though. I don't remember what faith he chose or followed but he could teach MANY of these religious people a thing or three about Christianity, I met him when he toured in Sydney in the 1960's when I was a young child and he was a truly warm hearted man to talk with. I blame him (yes, blame) for my addiction to Rolls Royce and Bentley cars!!
An impressive-looking vehicle but, I hope the owner never gets caught in a sudden downpour with the roof down. It looks like it would take forever to raise it up.
WHAT A CONTRAST. THE MOST EXPENSIVE ROLLS ROYCE CAR DRIVING THROUGH THE MOST PATHETICALLY POOR POST WW2 NEIGHBORHOOD EVER TO EXIST TILL TODAY. COULDN´T THEY FIND A BETTER PHOTO PEACKGROUND? A CHAIN IS ONLY AS STRONG AS IT´S WEAKEST LINK.
