Started "play all" on the kenner playlist. Noticed this video was posted April 26 2014. Happy 10 year anniversary to this video today. Definitely needs more views than it has. 😊
I will be starting a new series soon. It is the Easy Bake Book Recipes of famous chefs. I'm gathering supplies. There are at least 50 recipes. I also finished the contest winner recipes last year or the year before. I have lost track! If you can find the playlist, those were more advanced recipes.
I love the classic Easy Bake Oven if only because my older sister never let me touch hers when I was little. I am inspired now to actually try using the one I bought off Ebay years ago it looks like a ton of fun :) No wonder my sister was so greedy with hers.
LuckyPennyShop.com Hi LPG I have a turquoise model 1600, on the front of the box it says 1964. A little while ago I sent you an email from your Web site with a link to my Flickr account where I put up a bunch of pics from last night and earlier today when I baked Pillsbury cookies in it. They're fun because they remind me of the now extinct McDonalds Chocolatey Chip Cookies.
I was about six years old when I got the very first Easy Bake Oven. Wow I couldn't believe it it was the coolest Christmas present I ever got. Every day I would try and make my dad something for when he came home from work. I'm sure he just loved it LOL. I would do anything to have it right now but unfortunately my dad threw it out
I had the chuckie cheese pizza oven when I was younger, I remember the excitement in making the pizza dough. Following the recipe, the pizza was never fully cooked and tasted watery. Thanks for doing the Saturday easy-bake series! Although 40 min. Is more than I can bear in any other kind of video, LPS always does the most thorough demonstrations.
hunny we didn't do all of this when we had our easy bake oven! we had the mix that came with it and added water, mix it up and put it in the little pan and voila! cake! lol!! but this oven brings back such fun memories! i had one, and my girlfriends next door had one and we used to have easy bake oven parties!
We made up the mixes that came with this oven. When the mixes were gone, we started using the recipe booklet. I remember a red or dark pink candy we made in the oven. Anyone else remember that?
My 7th birthday gift. I remember there were pie crust, pizza and cookie mixes. I never tried real food on the toy oven but by 8 I was using the big oven in the kitchen!
If I remember right they are also called Mexican Wedding cakes. My late grandmother would make these at all the family get together. They are delicious! :)

@@dottiemathews6853 My girlfriend and I tried it with bacon and started a fire. That was my last time using this cool oven. Didn't these come with small box cakes and icing that always got eaten immediately ?
Yep, you will see as the era changes the look goes with it. The Avocado is one of the better designs, but the 1973 oven is pretty close in retro coolness..
Excellent job. I love how these "just like adults" food-making toys reflected on the society of the day. Have you gotten in touch with the Food Network or other cable network to show how these "vintage" toys worked?
Lps Dave your one of the most genuine youtubers I watch. By genuine I mean you actually have fun and you show that in a way that makes it fun for us too! So never stop making videos okay? By the way tell butch I said hi
That snow mounds recipe sounds like it would be amazing if you pressed them a little and added a dab of jam to turn them into mini thumb print cookies.
I've loved the easy bake oven videos and thought about trying some of them. Half way threw this video as you where adding walnuts to your chocolate chip cookies that a grown man was cooking in an easy bake oven with his barbie timer.... lol what's this world coming too... Good video though.
Nice phone bro! Although not much of an LG fan though. I have a iPhone 5s have you ever tried apple products they are AWESOME dude! You should maybe get one and do a video on your thought on them! 😃
hi I am so much proud of you because u keep ur efforts.in this I want to know where do you buy from shop or website if website please tell me the website name
I have a question that has nothing to do with the oven haha, but I was wondering what you did with all of the toys that you show on the channel like do you keep them all?
It depends on the items. Most are cleaned, and restored back to the original packaging. A lot of items we need again, or bring back in new videos for comparison. Some have been donated to local groups and others might be sold.
Sorry if I missed it in the description, but that nun chopping machine is amazing--especially if kids want to help out with "cutting" things up for you. Is there a name for that, or is it brandless?
i'm confused, when you use packages of mix or whatever that come in the box with the toy, aren't they expired? (especially in this case, I mean the product is older than my mom!) I know when you use milk, sugar, etc it is fresh, but what about the packets of mix?
I still have my original Easy Bake Oven - the turcoise one - can someone tell me how do I replace the light bulbs? I can't remember how that is done - thanks for any help.
how or where do you get your little dishes from? they are just so cute! I really want one! can you give me a link or tell me the store pleeeeeaaase? thank you pleas reply :) :o)
