Holy cow! My first car was a '64 Falcon. My folks bought it for me ($400!) in 1969 for graduation from high school. I beat that thing to death for 3 years, then sold it. I wish I could have it back. Subscribed for this project!
These high speed disc cutters fragment. The piece hit my leg above the knee, ripped my heavy cargo pants to shreds. That was enough to stop the disc fragment enough to only imbed slightly. So my new tactic is to grind/cut far away from Mr. Happy as possible, wearing leathers is a must....full face shield, heavy winterized gloves. Eyes not replaceable, fingers dont grow back, and takin out Mr. Happy, thats a life-style change.
Nice video. Gave me some ideas for my 1964 Ford Falcon Futura 2 door. I would like to ask all viewers to please (suggestion) wear a Full face shield when using a cut-off tool. One of the guys at the shop had a hot piece of metal fly inside of the safety goggles he was wearing and had to go the emergency room to have it taken care of.
How can l get my hands on 64 falcon been looking but hard to find l would like to find one my self as a project car any suggestions help if you have any thanks .
Not a stupid question. It can cut the material however we would have to have a design 1st to know what to cut. We don't have one, nor a car to design the pattern. Most floor pans are made by a stamping machine since they are not flat and have a more 3 dimensional shape. We do not have the capabilities to do that.
