I just acquired a 1964 Impala SS coupe All numbered. Perfect 327 engine. All original. Been stored away for 35 years. Not a spec of rust. It's never seen the rain. Cherry red paint and immaculate interior.. I can send pics for those who would like to see it. It's a gem!

This is tight! Reminds so much of my first car at 15 yrs old, but my uncle was original owner. It was 3 on the tree with a 327 engine...good times. I had it for a year, then one day came out of my home and it was gone. Stolen! This is a better word. I'm so tempted to make the plunge🤔
That brings back some memories. Mine was black on black four speed posi, and scavenger pipes out the back, thrush mufflers. Old school american mags and over the headlights was the chrome covers that deflected the headlights so you could run the high beams and get away with it. There is times that the only thing was to get the back window out and replace all the rubber seals. I can't remember but thought that there was a drip rail that got plugged up and forced the water in to the trunk. I had the 327 with the double flag covers, 3/4 cam and it had the edge of a buddy of mines 396 with automatic which is the only option at that time from chevy. And this hot chick in our town had a convertible with the 327/three on the tree and dang, for a convertible, it was all out fast stock. She would tease us and say if you want in this underwear, gotta beat me in the mile. None of us did and I was close and let off just a tad cause I could see the worry on her face. Mine got t boned in downtown mt. vernon wa., so put all the running gear in my fifty seven hardtop. It was way faster then. I got caught racing again and spent a year in jail and six months in a driving school that if you didn't complete, you done it over. Mean judge out to clean up the kids racing and killing as he claimed. He commited suicide about ten years after my turn. Got some stories of then. The back lock is in wrong and that clip that holds the lock is only catching the upper side of the lock or it would turn open easy. Sure miss the key in the dash. I believe my 66 impala had the key in the column. Theft proof they claimed but if you had a hand full of chevy brands, olds, pontiac, buick cadi., they all interchanged back then. And they all had single sided keys!! I did stiffen that sway bar up front as it was all over the road in corners

This car is sweet. I have a 63SS and a 65 convertable. I had a 64 but it had frame damage unfortunately but the body was in great shape. A friend of mine has it now and he redone it and patched the frame. I would love to add this one to my collection.
Maple Motors has some of the nicest looking lot cars, looks like U might B a fellow BOWTIE GUY like me!!! That's a good thing... and not a Martha Stewart thing, but sorta.
Also, hard to get that black paint straight, I would like to get a closer look at it, but alas, it takes $$$...just 2 look. Whoever's gonna get the car is gonna git a purdy Automobile '64...I covet! Maybe I'll be forgiven, hope fully.
