Seeing you in that lot away from people reminded me that years ago I parked my 68 mustang bullet clone in a lot away from everyone..while walking away a lady comes into the lot with 6 kids and parks so close to me her doors wouldn't open without mashing my new paint job! I run back say wowowo. She takes a small bike out 1 kid gets out does a wide circle and smashes my passenger door! While running to see the damage the kids spill out dinging the other side of my ride! So parking is dangerous! Needless to say I was sick and she was like that's just little scratches.."your over reacting..
I did my 4 door 64' Convertible in 1987, I use chevy pick up 1500 49 / 50 hinges they swing 90 degrees open and reinforced the same quarter panels from the frame
I never liked a four door impala. Suicide doors in the back is a game changer. Totally changes the look of this car and really makes a four door impala look real good. Reminds me of those old Lincoln town cars
This only works if it’s a 4 door sport sedan. Putting suicide doors on a 4 door sedan is like like putting make up in a pig 😆 the door frames fuck up the over all look
All depends on the fabricator, painter and the hinge you use. I had alot of estimates ranging from 2,500 to 7,000.my advise go with the higher estimate as they are most likely more experience in doing this work.
