In this video I modified my door locks to operate with the ignition key, and I how I did it.
This modification can be done on any car with “pin-set” key locks.
As if Modified Mustang couldn’t get anymore modified, my reason for doing this was to simplify things to where instead of having multiple keys I could just have one key and a copy instead of two keys and two copies.
*Note: when experimenting with pin-set combinations, keep the spring or springs pressing down when try to operate the key lock. Also keep all pin-sets and springs in the order they were removed just Incase this mod does work out for you. You can resemble the key lock to original operation.
Keep in mind: You may or may not wind-up using all four of your pin-sets
