Interesting points but knowing what I know now, we probably got it on trade. Still a nice car, but at the end of the day maybe it could have been tweaked a bit.

Complete daytona coupe kit from factory five is almost 22,000 minus engine, transmission, brakes, etc.

ImYoutubing247 You're right, those are NOT knock offs. They are 5 Lug wheels with "spinner" caps. Oh and BTW it's got a 3-link rear axle, so it's NOT 4 wheel independent suspension. The 3-link is a better race suspension on these cars. Last critical note, the cooling upper hose needs to be redone. That car can't burp all the air out with that setup. the fill point needs to be the high point of the cooling system. I didn't finish the video so I don't know what the asking price is but IMO FFR cars are way under valued for the performance you get. :)

***** Hi Jim, I don't know what they are asking for it so I don't know if it's a "good buy". Cobras are (generally, most of the time) loud and hot so you have to know what you are getting yourself in to. In terms of being a very fast, very fun car to drive, the FFR is incredible in both regards. It's not your daily driver though. Every FFR is different so you need to match your expectations and desires to the right car...

FFRs version of the Daytona might be called the "Daytona for fatties" as a Factory rep called a genuine Daytona, "too small", & FFR stretched the wheelbase five inches, & bloated the rest of the car proportionately...so....you get a jumbo Daytona with FFR. Sorry, you can't physically fit in an authentic Daytone?, shoulda laid off those triple cheeze-burgers & gotten off your sorry ass...

Ricardo Ellison No, the FFR is also extremely tiny. The original Daytona was meant to STUPID small and you’d have to be a TINY human to fit in it.

@@europlebr3216 At 9:16 we see this guy inside & the back of his seatback is some eight inches away from a roll-bar tube...Jeremy Clarkson bitched & moaned about not being able to squeeze his 6 foot 4 inch Gorilla body into an original GT40 racecar, half his head was poking out the roof & the doors couldn't close....yes, that's why it was called the GT ...FORTY, 40 inches high...and of course the redux decades later ballooned in size & weight..."the American way". Why do you think the all-american pickup is so popular?, it's the only vehicle 1/3 rd of the population can physically fit into.

As myself, a 61 yr old semi-retired Auto-technician American who has for the last 13 yrs, living in South America...I can attest to the American "failings". I flew back to the states some four years ago to visit relatives, and was astounded by what I saw...The statistics I was aware of, but had not been exposed to, was profound & sad at the same time. One third of Americans are classified "Obese", the second third is classified as "Overweight", the final third is considered "normal". 80% of my family is within this parameter, two of three is overweight or obese...BTW, myself, I am still at appx. 190 lbs @ 5' 10.5" high...same as 20. 30. 40 years ago...my active career has made this possible. These realities were brought into sharp relief when I was with my brother those four years ago, we stopped into a gas/station/mini-mart to refuel. The store was occupied with a dozen or so individuals, buying gas, groceries, etc....each & every one of them were obese, tall, short, old, young...It was quite the sight, & no doubt that is considered "normal" amongst those present. We don't see 295 lb 1.8M high horse jockeys, F1 race-car drivers, Super-bike racers...if you don't fit, you have no business being there, power to weight ratios get thrown out the window...& our cars get "blown out of proportion"... Why do you think Harley Davidson motorcycles are the most popular bikes in the US?...Did you notice the very wide embellished "tractor-seats" on Harleys?...the width of the seat to accommodate the wider profiles of the individuals??? Just where when & how this will play out, will be tragic & inevitable, the creeping sloth of humanity..."...you mean to tell me you can't do one pull-up Pyle?"
