I wish Indian learnt this history in school. After 7 decades after independence, there is a lot of history that needs to be updated and taught.

Reading books written by pseudo defense analysts doesn't define facts needed for winning war. War is won with morale, strategy and emotion needed to fight for a cause a soldier believes in. 1965 war was won by a defiant and brave Lt General Harbaksh Singh who defied then army chief and refused to retreat despite facing much advanced Paton Tanks of Pakistan with Old Centurian Tanks. Harbaksh Singh had strategy and more than strategy he had strong emotion to defend his place of faith Amritsar. Thanks for not mentioning real hero's name but it will not change facts, it may change perception but perceptions work in politics not in war zone.

Jeneral harbakas singh is hero of 1965 war. Our relatives faced infentery in khemkaran sector , actually they were going to feed baffalos and suddenly Pakistani infentery started firing .
