I had one of these 66's it was very nice but I drove the wheels off of it. Bought another one and my brother wrecked it a week later. Sold both to a friend to make one good one.
Very nicely done! Who does the body and paint work for your company? I just love the 66-67 Fairlane's. The 427 ram hood just sets these cars off. Real good job on this one.
Slot of Folks are hating on the automatic trans, trust Me I used to drive for a living and hated autos in anything, then came a truck crash, ten back surgeries later along with nerve damage in My lower back and Walla, automatic transmissions are Our friends...
pvs vedder This one has been sold. We do get these in from time to time. Right now we have 2 69 Cobras one auto and one 4 speed. Our website is mainlymusclecars.com. Thanks!
Thanks for pointing that out!, horrible mistake to correct, no springs on the hood hinges either. Also no seam running from the rear window to the trunk opening edge, filler?.
Relax. A 427 CID os a 427 CID. Just because this Fairlane started off with a 390 and they swapped at 427 into it doesn't mean it's not a 427 Fairlane. To be honest I hate people with this outlook. The whole clone vs. Numbers matching authentic models. Stupid argument...
Do you know how many automatics are at the racetrack each race? At least three-quarters of them. What a stupid comment. Powerglides, Hurst, they're all automatic. There is no clutch. Only a handful of people have a manual transmission and clutch setup at tge track.
