We got the tag, we can brag: 54B for Falcon Futura four door sedan with bench seats, M for White exterior paint, 38 for Gold interior trim, 04E for Wednesday May 4, 1966 production, 24 for Jacksonville, FL sales district, 6 for 2.80:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking and 6 for C4 XP automatic transmission.
I'd guess that it's a victim of salt on the roads ? . I used to own a 1966 Australian XR Falcon , same body as the US model , but different grille and taillights, just one of the many old cars I've owned that have rocketed in value, and I sold when they were cheap.
