Another beauty of a console by GE and once again, every time I see and hear a terrific Herb Alpert record being played, it makes me realize I need to give my Herb Alpert collection the attention it deserves. :)
@@markkilley2683, I've got pretty much all of Herb Alpert's albums including 'Whipped Cream', I think, and I bought them over a couple of years for just a dollar or two from local thrift stores (Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Value Village) in excellent shape with no scratches. :)
A lovely unit that would be wonderful to own, and music doesn't get much better than Herb and The Brass. Now I'm going to have to pull out my LPs and give 'em a spin. Thank you!
One trick I discovered when I had my GEStereo was that if you still had records stacked on the spindle but had toleave the house, you could turn the switch on the turntable to off and release it and the changer would cycle off leaving the records stacked.
