THANK YOU SIR WILLIAM LYONS, YOU CREATED A MASTERPIECE.I,D LOVE ❤️ TO TAKE ONE THESE & TAKE OFF FOR A WEEK & DRIVE IT ON TIGHT TWISTING MOUNTAIN ROADS & GRIN EAR TO EAR !!!!!!!!!
‘Perfect charging ‘’dah ? D stands for discharge so not perfectly charging and the oil pressure gage must be failing somewhere too or the engine is not perfect either..
IN 1969 I BOUGHT MY FIRST E-JAG. AN OBL. ROADSTER FOR 2,100 DOLLARS FROM A DEALER IN MIAMI. THREE YEARS AFTER GRADUATING COLLEGE, VERY VERY INTOXICATING JUST LOOKING AT IT AND THINKING THAT It WAS MINE TO DRIVE.
Hi Victor l like both names to be exact...depends who you talk to and how they are referring it....l got my First E-Type 41 years ago....what beauty she was! Just stunning with all the curves...for years the E wasn't getting respect it was always Ferrari, or Lambo or Aston Martin ...now the E-Type has rose!.....
@Karma Mechanic I know some Fords had a similar regulator under the dash which suppied the fuel and temperature gauges. If it became detached from it's ground connection the gauges would read full scale. An ammeter reading backwards is usually a result of changing the car from positive ground to negative, easy fied by swapping the wires to the shunt over.
It really is a beautiful car. One of the all time great shapes. And a Series One. My dream would be this -- only in British racing green ( the BMC version). Wished the guy would shut up and the appropriate, lovely song had continued. Didn't need the commercial. The car and song says it all.
They are Dunlop tyres not Dunlack. How can it be original when he's done all that work to it, What a Plonker. oh it's jag U ar not jag W ar there's no W.
The Jag is not done right...shame...spark plug ends wrong, tach not working exhaust manifolds are supposed to be porcelainized, hood catch supposed To be cadmium, not painted red...alternator heat shield missing, seems to have exhaust manifold leak...who knows what else is wrong....dun-lack
