Driving my trans am inspired 1966 mustang through the canyon. hi performance 289, 5 speed, hydraulic clutch, equal length long tube headers, 3 inch exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and side pipes
2 things i rly like here.... 1. Shifting by hand! NO damn boring automatictransmission! this car is lovely! 2.you use that pony...the engine, the clutch...you are in love with that....
Man this sounds so mean! What cam are you running in your 289? I almost bought a '66 coupe in November that I literally found in the woods on vacation in Georgia but the owner decided not to sell. Would love puilling up to a light like at 1:03 in a Stang sounding like this. Keep filming these driving videos!
Okay I must have watched this way to many times. I LOVE the way it sounds. But anybody have any clue on how to get a stock 302 to sound like this? I am restoring a 1976 Ford Bronco and I dont want to drive fast just sound good
That sounds amazing! Is that the original stock K code engine with the enhanced exhaust? I have a '65 289 coupe that I'm planning to rebuild so I'm getting some ideas...
its a hipo 289 but not an original K code block, custom exhaust, its equal length ceramic coated long tube headers with full 3" exhaust, H pipes, and flowmaster mufflers with side pipes.
ArtInMotion I'm building a 65 fastback this summer. I saw lots of cool parts on your car would love to know more about it. Valve covers etc....absolutely love your car.
