My Dad was a Mechanic for a Versatile dealer back in the 60's and early 70's and I remember him saying that he preferred working on the 118's and 145's more than all the rest. He even drove to Winnipeg for a tech school course which was a long days drive using the shop service truck... leaving from Lloydminster, Alberta, a small City on the Alta, Sask border.
I had a John Deere 8430 that had to split whenever you had to work on it. I considered the Versatile but was under the spell of John Deere. What a mistake.
Can anyone tell me if the cab on the 300 the same size as the cab on the 700 or 800 tractors? And if so, will a 700-800 series 1 cab fit easy enough on a D145?
