Jonny, My name is David Alt from Finksburg, Maryland U.S.A.. I just bought a 1965 Austin Moke from London England. Mine is Forest Green, has new 998 cc engine with two carburetors, no doors, no windows, no heat, and no radio. Looks like it was made yeaterday. Immaculate I want to take mine to Aruba where I have a home there. Thanks David J. Alt
Absolutely love the Moke, especially this one. Wanted one when I was aged 18, but couldn’t afford it, so built a Mini Scamp, closest I could get at the time
Hi from Aus!!! A great job restoring this little beauty. I am currently restoring an Aussie built 68 Moke with a 1275 motor and worried about the Maniflow exhaust clashing with the underslung rod change unit. Have a KAD internal shift I could modify (and would love to use) similar to yours. The issue I have however I have not got room between the sling seats to mount the gear change unit like you did?? Do you think it would work if the gear change unit was shorter ?? Did yours give you any drama's - did you use extra engine steadies to stop popping the gears out? Thanks
Great car, well done. Looking at the lightweight stuff the military are enamoured of just now, I think the MM was just ahead of it’s time. Good vid, Thanks for posting.
This is the best Moke I’ve ever seen, and this video is top notch too! Color is perfect & I love that you’ve performance tuned it. Your mods would be impressive in a 650kg Mini, let alone in a 450kg Moke! Would be nice to see it used in anger 😉
I am pretty sure by the 'before pics' and u saying £300 off ebay with no v5 this is the moke i missed out on years ago! But by seeing what youve done with it, it went to the right home! And you sure do sound like keith lemon/leigh francis 🤣👍
