Love it. Grandma had one for years. Unfortunately it was just a 340 2 barrel with a 2 speed trans. 4-doors too. But it drove so nice. It was kind of the church-lady version of this one.
I had a 67 view equal cat. One of the fastest cars I ever had I do not know exactly what the top end of it was but it was an excess of a 130 miles an hour. Love that car show the cause. I couldn't afford to pay. The guy showed it to his shoulder because he couldn't afford to pay the tickets either.
thelater model steering wheel was a nice add the three spoke looked good and had a nice feel . and those beautiful buick sport rims!! they looked good on any gm car. they also fit the full size ford murcury line and looked sharp! love the color too. very nice!
i Love those Car's i am Glad to hear someone say they like those rim's i do to, but if one of these goofy kid's today got that car he would Put 26" Rim's on it & thug it out, i seen a kid with his grand dad's 62 Old's he put those 10 speed rim's on it , his grand dad was pissed but he sold it to him, sad to see...
I like these model Buick’s for the unique “ralley wheels”. This particular year doesn’t have that “w” patten headlight effect which I’m not a fan of. Man to this day I’d like to own one in original black unmolested. Only other thing is I’d get a second set of tail lights and see about making some custom led lights. Thing about 60s-80s Buick’s. They have these really large tail lights with limited function. I mean there is enough space to have separate turn signals that instead of the GM standard of all in one lights. 😜
By any chance know the exhaust setup fairly well? I’m wanting something mild but full of grunt like that, sounds like it could be original but likely isn’t. That’s the sound, but for a 430 on a 69 Electra :)
