That Marina Blue Deville Convertible with the leather seating is GORGEOUS ! My first car was a 1967 Sedan Deville in Marina Blue. Best quality built car I have ever owned after fourteen other cars. PERIOD !
Yes, it certainly is. This one was a beauty, but unfortunate for me, I sold it in 2015. The only reason was that I wanted a change - bought a Camaro Convertible from 2012, nice car as well but for other reasons.
Wow, what a beauty! Early 1960s through late 1980s will always be my favorites. I don’t get the least bit excited about the new Cadillacs. They certainly are not the Cadillacs I grew up with in the 1970s.
I prefer the '66, but this is nice too. '65 & '66 were a bold departure from the tailfin era, this harkened back to it. Cadillac knew by then that tailfins were passe, but they weren't ready to let go yet.... too much nostalgia.
The original 1967 Cadillac name for the light metallic blue paint color is Marina Blue. I grew up with a 1967 Deville in the same color. I had the original paint chip brochure and had the car repainted at a Cadillac dealership. That car had the best build quality ever. Best year for Cadillac in my opinion.
Now that is a true land yacht! I love it! But what's with all the complaints about the vent windows and whatnot? Who cares about stuff like that?!? I actually kind of like them.
beautiful!! i cant beleive complaints about the crank vents. is it that big of an inconvienience? and im sure it does have ac so then so you dont have to use them and the rims and whitewalls look great and not a bad video at all!
Wow nice car :) Har inte ramlat över den här videon förrens nu. såg här nedan att en del folk var intresserade hur gick det var det bara frågan och inget mer??
Marina Blue Metallic! Man, they don't have cool colors like that anymore! Now it's all maroon, silver, white, black, and yellow. No names to fire the imagination. And this is what they need to get back to: real cars with style and personality. Too much of everything looks like everything else, and that's sad. It'll take you from here to there, but do you want to be seen in it?
MrCalleborg Thank You for your response. I am restoring my mom's 67 convertible(same color interior & exterior as yours). Are the seats leather or vinyl? I have seen a leather kit available in this color but the kit offers on vinyl for door panels & side panels but seats only. I know leather was original but I would rather have a quality vinyl(for durability) in the correct color.
+vanillaexplosion99 Hi again, the seats and door panels are vinyl. This car was restored in Sweden in 2004 but unfortunately I don't have so much information regarding the restoration. Wish you the best of luck in restoring your family's car!
I saw your question regarding upholstery in the 67 Cadillac, This color is aqua #469, and yes the top portion of the dash was a darker blue, I had a 1967 Cadillac with the same interior color, I hope this information is not to late!
