This is my fathers 67 Ford Fairlane, is a 55 year old car with 21000 original miles. That's about 380 miles a year, its a unrestored car not perfect but real close! Its still wears the original one off paint, and still looks excellent.
Fairlane is automobile treasure for sure, and on the road it still has eye-catching looks and sleek contours it would be worth a lifetime moment in present era .....if one has this masterpiece to drive around.
Just found this channel, subscribed immediately, especially being a Ford guy myself owner of an 73 T- bird 74k original miles along with a few other Ford's. Beautiful car you've got here, thank you
Beautiful car!!! I might image that there was a '67 Mustang on the dealer floor in Diamond green, code M2067 which would be the same as Lincoln Cameo Green. A fabulous color not offered yet looks fantastic on your dads Fairlane.
Nice car, but that looks like body cancer under the driver’s door. See timeframe, 4:09. That entire area under the door needs to be addressed immediately with metal repair and repaint. A simple cleaning will not be enough. The door may eventually need to be replaced if it is not address correctly.

Thanks my 67 is a ranchero,extremly rare,my 79 ford is one of the last rancheros made,but even reallyreally hard to find parts for,even in the anti rust areas of car country!!!!

tracks of the window could be dirty, they can be a tricky thing. they need to be clean, sometimes its not a good idea to add lubricant to the slides because usually it ends up causing dirt to stick and make the window hard to roll. The mechanism in the door could be rusty on the pivot point. Try putting a little rust check or lube on the inside mechanism.
well you all need to give it a better clean i mean the filth around the door jams is terrible = should have washed and polished it first = i was let down.

@@myclassicfords3658 Marti Reports are not always right. I know that from personal experience. I own a one of one Ford that Marti Reports said that never existed. Ford Museum proved otherwise. It's a matching numbers car and everything on/in it, including the build sheet, is 100% correct.
Norman, you can see the 289 sticker on top of the air cleaner at about the 5:50 mark. Also, the window sticker shows the 289 engine listed on the window sticker. The narrator mentions early on, that this is a low mileage survivor car.
Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime (Bundesabgasbespassungsverbotsverordnung)!!!!!
