1968 Dodge Dart 410 Stroker Open Header Burnout 1st and 2nd Gear

1968 Dodge Dart. It's got a 410 stroker w/485 hp. 4 speed w/Hydramax hydraulic clutch, 8 3/4 w/3.55 gears and an Auburn pro LSD. It's been mini tubbed and springs relocated. I did all the work this winter (previously it had a 318 auto 7 1/4). Just doing a few burnouts with my old skinny tires before my 28x12.5R15s w/ 15x10 rims go on next week. I figured no sense letting old tires go to waste!

Thanks. When it's got the summer big tires on its got polished factory dog dish center caps but I don't bother putting them on when it's got the storage tires and rims on.

Next time I'll make sure I have my big tires on so the burnout is more worthy of your viewership. Smh. As the description says I was just having some fun with the little winter storage tires before swapping on the big tires.

I had a 68 Dart however it never sounded like that might have been because it was a straight 6 cylinder. 🤣😂🤣

Honestly too many things to list. The engine is getting dyno'd in a couple weeks so I'll have a new video of that. But engine alone is about 2 inches worth of receipts! Scat forged rotating assembly, worked over eddy heads. comp custom solid cam, roller rockers eddy air gap intake MSD ignition etc.

Couldn't he find any smaller of a rear tire to do his burnout? A worn-out six cylinder could break those tiny tires loose! What are they? About 5" wide. Lol!

6 ½ inches wide, thanks for noticing. If you read the description I state that I'm burning off the old tires before I put drag slicks on. Never said it was hard to do.

In this video it was 10.1 to 1. Now its 11 to 1 with a more aggressive solid cam as well.

It got real rubber about an hour after those burnouts. This video was just while i was burning the winter storage tires up. A833 is plenty strong. It lasted the entire time I had it with many 6k rpm launches with 28x13-5 hoosier qtp's.

@@patriot798 nice, my Barracuda I run a 32x16 Mickey Thompson Drag ET. Does a nice little wheelie every time. I've got that suspension setup so it only lifts the tires about 4 inches off the ground.
