My first car was a 1968 Dodge Dart. But it was just a regular four door sedan. It was the same color as the one in the video. It had a 225 slant six and auto transmission. It also had a black interior. Many a time I wish I still had that car!
I love A body's, this is a beautiful car. The only thing that's a little off and strange are the wheels. They don't have that usual factory appearance of say a Mob Steel wheel way to bowl shaped. But definitely a beautiful car.
This Dart has the stance more like a pro touring restomod than a traditional street rod, but the look is going for stock with a modern wheel and tire size and lowered all around stance. Usually you see A-body mopars have a raked stance with the front end lower than out back.
Everyone is trying to reinvent the wheel, but nobody knows how to make it round, with that said, I get what your trying to do with the look however the oversized steelies just don't work, they never do, if you used 15 inch steelies and you would have nailed it...
That would be a really cool car with real wheels and tires. As it is, it is a complete POS. That car came with 14" wheels, and tires that actually had sidewalls, which are necessary to the function of tires.
Yes, the tire and wheel combination is very ugly and the back looks a little strange. It looks like it could have been a four-door shortened to a two-door
Cragar SS or Magnum 500s would look good too, The car is going for more of a modern restomod look with bigger wheels and smaller sidewall tires, which in person looked pretty good, but can look out of proportion from certain angles.
The clown shoe rims and rubber band tires completely ruin this car. I have no clue how anyone could think that this looks good. It should be seized and put back to the way it's SUPPOSED TO BE. 👎💩
@@hughjass1044 Exactly. It's a custom build. Nothing is "suppose' to be any specific way. All these nobody experts out here complaining about someone else's build is ridiculous.
@@dannyfasttcars8612 He no doubt thinks it's one of those original LO23 factory hemi Darts of which there's only a few dozen left and that it shouldn't be modified. Were it in fact, one of those, I could see his point but anyone knowledgeable at all about Mopars can see at a glance that it isn't.
A lot of money in a irrelevant car 😐 , allá that crap of sleeperrs sick the mind . This car cost to build at lest 50k , with that money can restore in a good way a GTS o a swinger 340 . Here Is a example how not spend your money .
