That should put you around 65mph at 2000 rpm in overdrive. I don't know anything about your truck or engine but that might lug it down. These trucks are not aerodynamic. I'm at 2100 rpm at 65mph and it's okay but the engine is happier at 2500 rpm going 80 mph. It's in it's power range at that point. Hope this makes sense. well there ya go. Hopefully my T-5 wont hit my bench seat I have a S10 tailhousing but i may just go with it like it is. I will do some measurements. I want to run 3.55 gears so I can cruise at 75 or so. I may even opt for a 3.27 rear gear (1965 F100 with Explorer 302).
