Hey great job on the decals my guy, they really look the part. I was actually thinking of doing the same thing you did for the faux ragtop since its actually a very clever way of installing it. Great work, can't wait for part 5!!!
Thanks! You can get the rag vinyl from Jbugs and then get the large disk magnets at Ace hardware. The magnets just tuck into the flaps under the rag. Super easy!
Looks awesome. Plan on making a Herbie myself with my 63. Not sure if I wanna go black or original white. All the effort to make it movie accurate might as go with the white wheels.👍🏼
Looking great! Are you going to try for the Stripes that go over the Roof and Ragtop also? They make special paints for Fabrics that should work really well for that. The Original Herbie had some sort of tape or vinyl that wore/flaked off from what I understand. I'm loving the car, and it makes me excited to finally be getting my own VW Bug soon!
