In the late 70s my best friend's uncle gave him one of those. He wasn't old enough to drive yet, so he just went up and down the driveway with it. I don't know whatever became of it.
In 1969 BMW was nothing, this dash at the time was very nice. Speedometer, fuel gauge, radio , switches for the rear window defogger, electric antenna, heating air-conditioning controls, light switch and clock ash tray and lighter. Might have been more but it's been many years since I've been in one. It was a very nice and desirable luxury car at the time. Had more on it than a then Mercedes.
@@califdad4 But look at the size of it. Only speedo and fuel and they are rather small. They would fit on a Mini dashboard. With a dashboard that size one would expect a tacho, temperature and oil pressure gauges.a voltage meter
@@ngauruhoezodiac3143 they were not doing all that on cars then, they used idiot lights which was in the dash near the speedometer. I like a rather clean dash
Doubt that you have driven one to judge the ergonomics. Really great seats, tilt wheel, very comfortable to drive and 360 effortless Horse Power. Would blow any BMW of 1969 off the road.
