Dodge has introduced the Hellephant. It's a 69 Charger body with modifications they made it wider . The exhaust pipes come through the tail lights. It is1000hp.
@@oldschoolhiphop2275 but it's not a production car. It's just a "custom" Charger. Like dude said, they'll never reproduce the same body ever again. It would have to go under a special manufacturer to produce the body again such as the Equss Bass 770. Best modern car shaped like a classic we got.
@@CaptainFALKEN Yea it's just a concept car. It's not the exact same body as the original just a retro type of thing they did. When I saw the Hellephant it actually didn't look exactly the same as the original 69. It looked smaller yet reminiscent of the original.
Don't wait. Life goes by,and the price only goes up. I could have bought one of these for 6 grand back in 97'. For 30 grand back in 2007 and 70 grand in 2017. Now I've got a wife, kids, a mortgage and a retirement to fund.
As a child of the 80s my dream garage would be an A-Team GMC van, the '89 Tim Burton Batmobile, a KITT firebird and this beauty right here. The General Lee made me fall in love with Dodge cars like no other. I still think it's the best looking muscle car ever made!

I love the 70 challenger, I would love to put the wheels from this car on the challenger with that dark burnt orange with a black stripe going ov we the hood with a black spoiler and vinyl top. I think it would look nice.
Have you seen the newer 2019 chargers? They look like they tried to drive them in a pipe ....and who makes the charger a 4 door? Who bright idea was that? Same with the new rams, they look like they got drove threw a pipe!
I don't know much about these type of cars but as a layman I was clearly able to distinguish dodge from other muscle cars such that the design is .....superb
Those cloudy days are perfect for recording video, because there are no sharp shadows or contrast to mess with the camera exposure. It gives me the feeling of a warm, humid afternoon in Northern Ohio.
I had a 68 charger RT 440 in 85 . I wish I still had it! The only car I miss and I don't have any pictures, dang it, but it's really good to see these cars 68 ,69,and 70 charger
when I was a teen, my mom bought one of these. It was a beautiful copper color. Had all the bells and whistles. 440 cubic inch engine. I once got it up to 140 in the desert. Crazy fast, but didn't handle well at all. After the fuel crisis in the '70s, she bought a Volvo station wagon, but she said she missed the charger.
My 4 favorite cars are the one I own my 66 ss Chevelle then my second favorite is a 67 coupe Mustang then 69 RT Charger and then a 1970 GTO ram air GTO!!!!

My dad has a 69' Charger SE. He had it as his daily commuter until 1994. Still there, no engine in it and theirs alot of rust. Told me all the stories when he would run from cops in texas outside of San antonio.
I dont care what anyone says, I just LOVE the Charger!! To me it is better than the Mustang, Camaro and Corvette. Beautiful and wicked at the same time. Perfect lines and looks.
Now add the General Lee graphics in gloss black and that'll be how I'd want mine. Either that, or paint the car gloss black and put matte finish General Lee graphics on it!
The REAL Charger! Not that four door family sedan you see everywhere today rolling around. And yeah,I do like the modern 700+hp SRT Hellcat version...they look good and have amazing performance...but this original car,when fully restored and clean,totally outshines all that new stuff anyday!

I don't know if it's a numbers car or not but by the looks of it it looks like an early 69 with low back seats ( No headrest) and a 68 steering wheel. Badass ride

Thers is absolutly nothing that i would have done different on this car if i owned it. You have done an astounding job on your car. The flat or mattte black paint, those rims and tires, what a look that car has. I had to laugh when i read a comment on testoserone levels. All you have to do is just look at the car to get the elevated levels
68 bucket seats had sewn in slits in them and were not fat and flat like these are....i owned a 68, a 69 and a 70 charger...the 68s were the most comfortable and the best looking of the 3 years...My 69 had white buckets like these ,but with headrests....my 70 had black-charcoal buckets with built-in headrests and they looked ok,but when cornering ...you would slide off the seat cause it was so flat....nuff said...just my opinion.
