I have one of the old hotwheels castings you were talking about to me it looks more realistic compared to the more modern one of now the one I have is red I received it in a trade box back in the summer of 2019

Well brother since you didn't include JL I had to do my own comparison Hot Wheels Super treasure Hunt, M2, and my Johnny lightnings, Johnny lightning takes it for me ;) and the rest of them look a little cartoonish to me, but the car itself, beautiful, have a good day brother in diecast

The best part about collecting M2 Daytonas is that they come out with a new one every 6 weeks or so or so it seems .... As always another excellent review ... I picked up an M2 Bootlegger 67 Nova Gasser this morning ... it has skinny rear tires in case you were wondering.

for body line accuracy i would say greenlight hands down, the nose looks more correct and the rear quarter glass shape on the roof looks more accurate compared to the M2. you can paint the bumpers & chrome trim with a chrome malotow pen on the greenlights for better detail. the taller wider 5 spoke magnums with white letter tires don't look to bad on the GL casting, they look better on the daytona than anything else GL has used them on.M2 would be second just because of there different variations. JL would be 3rd but there small and have wide wheels as well with rubber and plastic tires. i just can't get in to HW they always look cartoonish & out of scale, the last HW's i bought were in the 70's i had some original redines then HW moved to black walls with the same 5 spoke mag in the mid 70's. they were fun toys as a kid but i never took them as a serious collectors pieces, after the 70's era cars HW's just got more goofy looking as time went on. i can see the collectors going after original redlines just for nastalgia sake but as far as the modern HW Collectors goes i just don't get it other than there cheap

Green light in my opinion has the best details! But a hot wheel STH is also pretty damn cool! The matchbox Superfast have also stepped up there game. Lots of good Diecast out there and I just depends on what you buying at the moment

Hey brother, does Johnny lightning have a Daytona? I found a all white with black roof, Plymouth S.B. it's a chase with white tires and gold wheels. People are asking for alot of $, 200 plus. It's smaller than most but still looks good. Great video, thank's.

I don't like that Greenlight glues the exhausters on the front fenders. There engines are ridiculously small. M2 has too big a motor and the hood doesn't close properly, but the separated nose cone and wing are right on.

Easily the Hot Wheels is the most toyish looking. So it’s the least thats for sure.

GL and Premium M2 look more accurate by having the nose a removable piece. Dunno about M2 but on GL i'm pretty sure they use the black rubber thingy for the nose, same as the 240z. Look fine for the charger, not so great for the 240z (which is probably the worst GL casting for me for that reason). The black rubber thingy is also a pain in the ass when stripping paint, because it's get damaged easily and look pretty ugly after stripping.
