As a kid in the 70's and teenager throughout the 80's i miss seeing these beasts on the road muscle cars everywhere. From Chevys to all Mopars. These cars from back in the day had so much character.
I know that feeling well. You know there are kids about. You know they're with an adult to keep them out of the way. Yet you still have to check your blind spots and mirrors 400 times.
Sounds damn good. In high school my buddy had a 70 or 71 GTO solid black with white interior and a 400 engine. I had a 65 Fastback Mustang with a 289 and I could outrun him all day. He bought a convertible Pontiac with a 455 in it and did an engine swap. He comes and finds me with a big smile on his face and says let’s race.....I blew his doors off again....he just gave up and quit messing with my 289. And that was my slow car, I had a ‘62 Ranchero drag car with a 289 that ran 11’s in the quarter.....
