I'm starting to look for a stage 1 right now .. I want the m21 4 speed.. but almost everything I see for sale has the automatic... I also want a Vinyl top though
I gave a thumbs up as soon as I saw the shift knob and knew it was a manual. That has to be super fun to drive. Also it's a beautiful car. Oh and I love the hood scoops/ loovers whatever you wanna call them. They look sharp as hell.
Beautiful! I had the same car in the 80's except mine was white. I remember having to replace the flywheel and the parts guy looking at me as if I was crazy...Buick with a four speed?? That car was a BEAST!
i also owned a white Stage 1 in the 80's, had the M22 rock crusher. Every once in a while I will have a dream about driving that car. Always sad to wake up, and it is gone. Had to rebuild the engine in it. The guy at the machine shop threw away my oil pickup tube, had to get a new one at the dealer. When I ordered the new cam, the guy didn't believe it was a Buick with a 4 speed. He was sure it was TOO MUCH CAM. BEAST is RIGHT!!!
DAMN THIS CAR LOOKS ALMOST PERFECT IN BLACK ..... JUST GET A SET OF GSX RACING MIRRORS AND TAKE THOSE CRAPPIE CHROME MIRRORS AND HIDE THEM !!!!!! PLEASE DON'T MISUNDERSTAND ME .... THE CAR IS PERFECT !!!!!! THE MIRRORS AREN'T !!!!!!
Where are you located in Oregon Bob? I'm in Portland would love to see this at cars shows and swap meets. I'm building a Buick 455 engine myself. I'd love to have a 70 GS with a 4-speed. I'm drooling over here beautiful beautiful bad Buick you got!
