I always run into problems like those working on my 81 Malibu. A 30 minute job easily becomes a 2 hour or more one lmao. Thanks for this video, gonna try installing my excel g's
I've got a 72 chevelle, and purchased the exact same rear shocks. I was stuck on what bolt order and how to put the new rear shocks through @ the bottom. Thank you sir, subbed!
Good job and great video. I’m in the process now of restoring my 71 Chevelle. It’s almost ready for paint. In the mean time I’m fixing up a 71 Skylark Convertible. Lots of similarities. I too like you got my Chevelle as a roller, but it was gutted and two cars combined to make one. It’s coming together tho. I subbed and will be tuned in.
Hey was curious what part number are the front and back kyb shocks you put on my 71 needs shocks and will they work if the car is lowered. Thanks l9ve the videos
Don’t get too intimidated by the front suspension man. I just upgraded mine about 3 weeks ago and pretty much installed everything within a day; granted I had help from my pop. I’m learning as I go as well, but it’s gonna be worth it once you get there!
Very nice! What did you go with? I was thinking about this kit www.hotrod.com/articles/1970-chevy-chevelle-front-suspension-install/ Looks decent and fairly cheap
I actually, thankfully, had the chance to get BMR arms, and went with the ProForm linkage kit from Summit-I went with it for the easy adjustability since I’m breaking in new shocks before getting an alignment.
Hey man just do the job. All the time I was hoping the review and maybe a comment after a ride. Focus on the title of the video and dont talk too much of things that are not part of the man theme
