Competition orange with the White stripes. With the orange and white houndstooth interior that came from the 69 pace car Camaro with the yanko badges on the headrests.
Jenny Summers: I remember you used to drive that crappy, blue Chevy Nova. What are you driving now? Det. Axel Foley: The same crappy, blue Chevy Nova. You think it's too late for me to study art?
True SS? Doubtful, or missing/incorrectly redone. Missing chrome/stainless bright trim on doors. Front fender louver were not full chrome. Only the edges, other was same as body color. The steering wheel has SS correct. No in dash tech with the 4 speed? My understanding that all 4 speeds came with the in dash tach and console gauge package. Not the original air cleaner.
The brightwork around the side windows was part of the deluxe appearance package and not all cars were ordered with it . The tach and gauges were not part of the SS package , and the only way to get the gauges was to order the center console . I couldn't see if it had a twelve bolt under it or not , the guy didn't mention one but he also didn't know what a Muncie was ! Also , I don't think he ever said anything about it being a SS car . Notice there were no engine callouts on the front fenders . 307, 350 and 396 all had the emblems in '70 , six cylinder didn't .
@@wrf8245 not necessarily, it was an old street racing trick to remove the engine callouts so other guys wouldn't know what you were running . One friend of mine removed all of the SS trim from his '66 L-79 Nova because no one would race it until he did so . This was in late '66 or '67 .
@@wrf8245 the tach took the place of the clock in the dash , but it wasn't a part of the SS package, most guys put a Sun Super Tach in their cars they were easier to read and more accurate then the GM tach .
Thats goes for 25-30k at Barrett Jackson and Mecum. Its a friday ice cream getter. Too many flaws. Didnt show in the truck or underneath. Now if it had a 454 it would be 40k. Also you sound like a shady car dealer not a car guy if you don't know car terms.
