MY FAVORITE MUSTANG IN HIGH SCHOOL WAS A 69/70 SHELBY GT500, BUT I DID OWN A 66 MUSTANG COUPE WITH A 289V8 AND 3SP C4 AUTO TRANS!...I FIXED IT UP LIKE A 66 SHELBY GT350 COUPE VERSION!...THANKS FOR THE MEMORYS!...I AM JUST SAYING!...GOD BLESS AMERICA! 😇
I know many people will disagree, but for me the 428 CJ would have been a better engine choice than the 351 C 4bbl. Otherwise a super nice Mach 1 with a beautiful interior.
I think the Maverick Grabber was the most under-rated car Ford ever built. A 302 2bbl with a floor mounted 3 speed was the top power train option. It's too bad most Maverick's came with the small 200/250 six.
