Nice job! Especially the polishing. This looks really good. Those lamps are really well built, and new ones are made to this day. Having restored an old military surplus Petromax HK500, I would like to share what I learned, in case anyone reading this wants to restore one as well. You might be able to learn from the things that I did wrong. Apologies if some of this was covered by you already (I do not speak your language unfortunately and RU-vid does not generate captions) 1. Replace all the o-rings of you find an old lamp. Most o-rings on older models are made of lead (except the one on the pressure gauge) and can only be used once (maybe twice if you are careful). If you can at all, replace them with Viton o-rings. 2. Replace the pump valve. On mine the original one looked fine but it was not until I kept having issues with the tank not holding any pressure and fuel leaking into the piston tube (huge mess!) that I decided to replace that valve as well, just to be on the safe side. 3. Two upgrades are worthwhile: an ethanol preheater dish and a steel burner. The former will warm the carburetor up more gently and produce less wear on the mantle. The steel burner is just more resistant to cracking than the original clay burner. 4. Clean the inside of the tank really well - on really old lamps, there is often a lot of buildup in the tank that can clog the carburetor very quickly, requiring another complete disassembly. 5. Preparing the mantle: soak it in a bit of ethanol and light it. Once it has burned all the way through: preheat the lamp for a few minutes, pressurize the tank and then start the lamp. Be aware that the mantle is extremely delicate and does not like being moved/touched at all. I have broken two mantles by not being careful enough. Oh, and finally: do a pressure test with all the valves in place before reassembly. Immerse the pressurized tank in a bucket of water and check for bubbles to see if there are any leaks. It is a pain to have to disassemble the whole lamp again of you spot any leaks after fueling and pressurizing the lamp. It of course happened to me and it is not fun. Practical tip: when extinguishing the lamp, do so by opening the little valve on the pressure gauge to depressurize the lamp. Leave the main valve open. That way all the fuel that remains in the carburettor will burn off. Close the main valve once the lamp is out. Residual fuel in the carburetor will cause lots of smoke and flames the next time you light the lamp. If you depressurize first and then close the regulator, you won't have this issue.
