I am collecting Washington quarters but will be making an added effort to watch for 1970's!

If I only knew when I was a teenager that hanging on to a couple of quarter’s would be so valuable. I like the reverse of Washington quarter’s as much as any every day coin. I also love that they haven’t changed the obverse design.

I sent 1961d 1962d 1963d and 1964 to ngc last week for grading. When I get them back I will upload a video of them in their holders. I want to thank you for your videos on those pennies. They were a great encouragement!

I think I'll be going through all the quarters I have had wrapped from a few years ago haha. Maybe there's a few 1970 gems in there :) So many quarters, so little time!

Yes, I'm keeping all Washington Quarters, Especially the 1970's which I've kept ALL from 1976 to date, because it's my birth year and I've kept all denominations of coins from 1970 for the past almost 44 years. I have some nice ones from the ones I've put back in the 70's and 80's! Since June I'll find an occasional nice one every now and then! I just got a usb scope for Christmas two days ago, but I'm waiting to borrow a laptop to be able to use it! Can't wait to look at all my 1970 quarters! I've kept all pocket change since 1988 so I've got many 5 gallon water jugs full of pocket change, the hardest thing is moving the jugs! They weigh over 175 with some over 200 pounds each. I saved them to cash in when I retired, but I just started getting into collecting in June of this year (2019)!! Been having alot of fun looking at them through my 5x power glass, but not nearly strong enough magnification!! Although I've found many easy to see errors, for example almost a dozen of the wide A M's from 1998 and 2000. The Delaware quarter Spitting Horse 3, the in God We Rust, Kansas if found about 10 and one from another state quarter a few days ago, I think it's a Minnesota P mint mark, which I thought was unusual since I've not heard of that one!! Have a GREAT Day and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Yes, collecting Washington quarters, but need to get familiar with and look for errors on the pre-state quarter era quarters.

I have been doing my best to hold on to all eagle back quarters.

My children and I have been avid collectors of the Statehood and National Parks quarters. You're informative videos are so helpful for searching for those "special" quarters. We are still actively searching for the West Point mint, as our state has not really received any yet...that we know of. Thank you again for all your extensive research and for always sharing!!

Merry Christmas J&B! Thanks for this information! I haven't been collecting the 1970 quarters unless they look almost uncirculated, but have been collecting most of the 2009-2012 and other low mintage quarters, and of course the new West Point varieties, which I am currently up to 1. 😅

I am collecting Washington quarters and I have a lot of 19 70 with no mint mark’s

Well its summer of 2024 and I have just discovered a business strike 1970d with no errors or variety that has potential to grade at a 67+. Not a single scratch, chip, or stain anywhere on this coin. I think at this point either the P AND D minted examples are scarce to find that aren't severely damaged from being circulated for over 54 years now. It could be at that point if any went to auction now it would probably increase. I will be looking to find a 1970 mint set for the business strikes as soon as I can for my collection and have this one I found graded just for curiosity sake.

I do try to collect some of the Newer looking Washington Quarter's......but I still haven't mustered up the Courage yet to have any of them Graded.....when I come across the ones I think look Really nice and then get the time to look them over with my magnifier I Always talk myself out of sending it off because I think they just don't look good enough once I can see all there little imperfections and I can't see the Graded Coin's in the videos up close enough to have one to compare it to so I end up talking myself out of it. Don't you just Love Newbies! 😊☺️😜🙃🙂😁

Going through my coins from exchange at launder mat, found a 1970 Denver quarter DDR. Not in great shape, but it's a DD! It's very noticeable, so for 50 years it's been in circulation, and nobody cared? lol

I have been collecting quarters more lately that have the eagle on the back you are starting to see less of them seems like with all the state and park quarters out there.

I'm going to try you one more time... I have what appears to be a silver, or silver clad, 2006 P North Dakota quarter. I'm wondering if there were a lot of these, or if any one else has found them ??? I found it in my (large) quarter jug while looking for others. When I saw the silver edge, I thought I had a really nice old quarter. Imagine my surprise when I saw it was an 06. Please let me know what you think. Merry Christmas

I an and I’m overwhelmed. I saved all my coins. I have some finds and some possible counterfeit. These 1970s are abundance and we have two more huge containers. And their AAl From 1950-1978. I’m worried I won’t have time before they crash. But will they crash? Seems like they would gain value if the mints close. But we are very close to living in the days of Noah. I’ll let you know what I find.

Hi I don't collect coins but ended up here from a ad. Watch the video pulled out my pocket change an I have a 1970&1974 no mint mark with double letters and numbers I wonder if they are worth anything.

I have a 1970 quarter that feel is an error coin because it has a long scratch across the front also it seems to have been cut off where it reads in God we trust. Could it be worth something?
