1970's NASA Documentary - A New View of Space

This documentary has such a 1970s big flashy psychedelic cult like feeling about space travel, Nasa, technology, art, science, humanity and nature :) I love it.

9:38 The camera came in handy when investigators were trying to find the cause of both the Challenger and Columbia Accidents. The camera helped investigators pinpoint where the joint on the Solid Rocket Boosters failed and saw the foam striking the leading edge of the left wing of Columbia and where it came from.

Love the positive yet dark atmosphere with this old school NASA Documentary. Also wasn't the narrator Robert Prosky the same Robert Prosky from Thief 1981 film?

I own these documentaries on VHS. NASA released some of them to the public in the 80s and 90s on a set called "America's Achievements in Space."

That hipper, more contemporary style that NASA and many other government agencies adopted in the ‘70s for their logos and presentations.

Did the guy punching the chalkboard after 2:35 get an actor’s credit and/or a pay bump?

Think back then there was no cell phones,computers,video games,just co?or tv and cars.
