My way of recreating the old PN is 2 dashes of tobasco(creates no heat just flavour) then 2 twists of sea salt ...try it if you don't like it its only coppers wasted
That fact that someone even noticed the design on the packaging had changed, leads me to think you're eating far too many of these! 😅 (Just kidding, I love them too!)
Wow, what an anticlimax! I've always wondered what the difference in flavour between todays food and those in history is. Heston takes us back in a time machine, recreates an authentic 1970's pot noodle and then doesn't describe what it even tastes like!
Heston Blumintel ,: I've Always thought is a Muppet He Can't cook out of a paper bag, POT NOODLE , Should use boiling water, then wait until It's ready, I know what I'm talking about i use to virtually live on them, when on nights with British rail, in the 1970's, I STILL EAT POT NOODLE TO DAY I'VE GOT FIVE IN MY CUBARD
That packaging design wasn't even used until the 90's and lasted until 2006. The exact design in this video is from 2004 though so I don't know why they were going on as if the retro design packaging is from the 70's when it's clearly from around 2004, only 7 years before this video.
Yeh they tasted such much better years ago. I’ve tried to explain to my kids how much better they tasted back the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. Now they taste shite!
@@matty6848 i had them after 2006 i loved them! one thing i did hate was mid 2010's they removed the soy (which i always thought was meat!) pot noodle gets watered down more and more and more! oh a new pot noodle design? PANIC they have changed the recipe!
The original pot noodle tasted fucking incredible but now it’s shite. I put a slug of vinegar in and some Aromat and it tastes so much better. Close ‘ish’ to the original. I’m going to buy some MSG and see how that tastes
I love to hear that from someone else. I liked the Cup Noodles, but the nostalgia out weighs the taste. As a kid I don't remember all that salt and bland noodles. I keep my happy memories.
