Driving roads where I could stay in third gear was perfect motorcycling. Smooth. For some reason it was the perfect match of engine to transmission. Riding it on roads that paralleled rivers and streams. I could enjoy the ride without having to overly focus on the riding. Oh, and my girlfriend was hot like the sheriff’s pistol. Sold the bike when we decided to have children. It was the right decision, there’s a time for everything.
@mrdavidlee Cool! I currently own a 1982 R100RT. I've enjoyed the couple rides a lot since I bought the bike earlier this year. Right now the heads are on their way to a machine shop though for valve work.
Great question. Just to the left there is a bump in the road that unweights your suspension for the turn. If I stay close to the white line right there , all is good and I can set up for the turn better ! Thanks for asking ! David
@@mrdavidlee Thanks for replying, trying to understand the purpose. Now that I know the road I'd have done the same. Safe riding! I've got a lead on the same bike in silver with a side car for very little money. I'm doing my research before buying it. Looks like a fun ride. I'm a 2013 Gsxr1000 rider as of now.
