Would have been better without the music and starting the bike at the finish would have confirmed your procedure for the viewers....just saying....love the look of your bike 👍
In the Branson Boyer instruction, it says to set the magnets, in line with the 'Norton' decal. On timing cover, then the coils on disc, should be within scope of adjustment when aligning white dot through hole. Best wishes from uk. ... PS I was waiting to see how bike sounded when you finished!... PPS. You really should get a centre stand, very useful..
You should also check to confirm the timing marks on the little scale in the inspection cover are correct. Heard reports on Norton forums these scales can be out 3-4 degrees...mostly due to slight changes in primary cover position when refitting it after changing the rubber sealing band etc.
My 750 had 28 deg on the boyer , but it was definately too retarded as the header pipes were black and searing hot, I reset it too 31 deg as recommended by boyer , and it is sweet , repolished headers , nice golden colour now . Cheers
