Trivia fact : Did you know that ~ The HEIGHT of NINE x '1/2 new pence coins' ( stacked ) is equivalent to the DIAMETER of ONE '2 new pence coin' ...? { There's something you never needed to know. }

1.) There was a cartwheel 2d coin as well as 2d silver maundy coins. 2.) The 3d coin was not kept - it was demonetized on Decimal Day. 3.) Both the shilling and the florin remained legal tender until 1990/1991 as 5p and 10p respectively.

You have made two mistakes There was 200 half pennies to the pound. (no longer legal tender ) It is not Victoria seated it is Britannia seated

The 1p and 2p from 1971 are still legal tender in the UK and its associated territories, that is Falkland Islands, Bailiwick of Guernsey, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Bailiwick of Jersey and the Island of St.-Helena. All of these territories also issue their own coins to the same size and weight of the UK coins, but with different Obverses and Reverses.
