My dad owned this sled back in the 70's and into the early 90's. His sled had the twin 650cc Hirth engine. Very reliable and an excellent trail machine that could hold its own in a lake race. When he bought me my first sled on Christmas in 1978 [a 1974 Lynx 292 (for $400, mint)], we used to ride together, straight from the house and go for a few hours to one of the three lakes nearby. Great times. Great sleds. Really miss my dad, who passed away back in 2022. We both missed that 650.
