Badass truck. I have a bagged truck and my pump was mounted upside down like yours. I contacted Via Air and they told me it was not good for the pumps to be like that. I had the relocated to the side of my frame.
Great truck man! I don't see anything wrong with it. So many people on here post comments that are so disheartening and just plain rude, but you probably won't see anything in their driveway. They're just wanna be's, and some are idiots on top of that. You build it how you want it and enjoy it! Good job!
Looks bad ass dude, a work in progress, so disregard the negitive comments. Hell i got mine on youtube as well, and not finnished yet. didnt know it was required to post a "completed" project on youtube...duh.
very clean. is that the autoloc air ride controller? how do you like it? my only question is why did you put a watts link on with the factory trailing arms? the factory arms have plenty of triangulation to hold the rearend centered
I always wondered what this body style stepside bed would look like on a 2nd gen S10. Of course the bed would have to be narrowed and it looks like the body lines would line up. Think it would look pretty sharp!
if the owner of this truck is the same kid that filmed this vid, then you're one lucky bastard...you looked like a youngster...theres no way you make enough money to afford all those expensive parts...that oasis compressor is 1,000 alone...wish i had rich parents
Some customizations are cool, but when it comes to something you just don't hardly see anymore (like a barracuda, coronet, Thunderbird, charger, etc.), it should just be kept original for the sake of how originally beautiful historic cars were even straight off the line. I don't know, maybe that's just my opinion.
its also different color shades, must have painted the panels at different times.meaning the doors are different shade of gold than the fender, looks like a piece of crap, when done like that.
ok 26 isnt young by anymeans...you're upthere towards 30 already....you should be set in your carrer by then in my opinion...but this kid seems like 20 tops...thats REALLLLLLY young to have a good paying job...i work fulltime and live on my own at 24, theres no way in hell i could even fathom a truck this nice with all these nice parts in my current situation...you either have to have a incredibilly good job, or have no bills...or have someone else buy it all for you...is all im sayin
@DeathByGravityBlast Your right it does take a lot of money. But that doesnt mean its impossible or that he has rich parents, and your assumptions and others like yours are the WORST kind to get under us truck builders skin. And your 24, you havent been buildin trucks for that long... and what makes you think its so impossible? Im 22 and have had the truck on the road for 5 years now! it cost me roughly 13.5K and that was 2 engines and 1 paintjob ago. that was just a nice cruiser w/mild 350.
