Little late to the party but the 360 CI was never offered with a 4V carburetor, only 2V. If there is a 4V carb on the truck it is not concourse correct. The washer reservoir is correct. I am curious if this truck is an original XLT. That was top of the line in ‘72. It does not have A/C, power brakes, oil pressure or ammeter gauges, and a painted gas cap instead of a chrome cap. I did not notice if it had power steering. My dad had a ‘69 Ranger (not XLT) and a’72 Sport Custom. Both had power steering and chrome gas cap. The ‘69 was a 390.
Are you kidding me? You made me sit through that whole thing and then you through out a totally ridiculous price that no one in his right mind would even consider. I hope you like that truck because you are going to have it for a while.
One would think you're right, but the old Ford pickup trucks are very hot. There are many reasons why this is and it looks to be a long-term trend. I owned 3 of them in the past and they were all very good vehicles, Chevy never compared very well to the F-series. Oh, just a perfect paint job can be over what they are asking for this one. Of course from a specialty shop. It's been 10 years or so since I sold my last F-150 for 1K, Black XLT with all the extras. Personal opinion; the new dawn of electric vehicles will continue to promote old ICE vehicles. We love ICE, while electric there is no love.
