1972 GT750 WATER BUFFALO SUZUKI 

Suzuki made some killer street bikes back in the day!

Jeff assembled these back in the 1970s ..That’s pretty amazing .. gotta Luv the 70s 👌

I didn't know a GT750 was a sportsbike till I saw Ken riding one!

Rode one in high school 78-80. Would eat up 3 cylinder 4 stroke Yamaha all day long. And the sound and smell. ❤👍

In new Zealand we called this model of motorcycle a"water bus" Thanks Ken & Jeff with your wee pooch.

My eldest brother bought a black one in 80. Waited a couple of months for it only to write it off 3 days after receiving it. A pedestrian ran in front of him after he took off from a stoplight. Pedestrian was killed and bike burned out and he was in hospital for six months with a totally shattered ankle. The wreckage of the GT750 sat in our backyard for years... Still remember the smell.

1976 GT750A, I was 15 years old and owned one of these monsters! My dad bought it for him but couldn't get used to a 750cc motorcycle powered with a 2 stroke motor. I'm guessing he just didn't like having both his shoulders being ripped out of their sockets whenever someone pulled up on a KZ650,750 or even a 900, and wanted to race...lol So, as the saying goes,"The sun even shines on a dog's ass sometimes!", became relevant to me because that asphalt digger was all of a sudden mine!!

Nothing sounds like a GT-750 with chambers . Water-cooling quietens the " Two-Stroke Rattle " , so even an Kawasaki H2-750 triple can't compete . I used to own one VERY similar to that 20 something years ago . Twin Disc frontend and Repainted . Bloody FAST Bike .

Just that "SOUND" ! Brings back memories

Scary thing is the flexy frame, primitive suspension tuning and drum brakes on spoke wheels. Still cool. Didn't sound too pipey.

Has that one been repainted? I bought a new one in 72 and there were 2 colors. Purple and white and Green and white.

The 3 into 1 exhaust was the real sound. Just a shame it robbed performance.
