So funny to hear the voice of NBC (Dick Enberg, obviously the voice of the Rams for many years) and the voice of CBS in the former Giant Pat Summerall.
I would have loved to seen these two great announcers call a game together somehow or network. Enberg play by play with Summerall as the analyst. It would have been interesting.
In the last game of the season against Detroit a gold and blue Rams helmet was painted on midfield, while the team continued playing in the white and blue uniforms. It appears this was the only game the logo was on the field that season.
Never should've switched from the blue and white colors. Baltimore was no longer an NFC team so it would've worked. Tradition is what separates the Rams from their northern rivals. The Rams have none. That's why there are so many missing members in the hof. Like #64. How could you not include a guy named "Hacksaw" in your hall?
@@jefferyrobertson7520 I remember watching the Rams play the 49ers early in the '73 season and after I said something about the Rams " new " colors ,my dad told me that blue and yellow were not new to the Rams and since there was no internet back then I had to find proof through old football cards. Fortunately my dad had a friend who had every baseball and football card going back to 1953 and he let me and my 7 year old hands look through stacks of old football cards so I could find Rams cards that proved my dad was right, I never doubted anything he said after that.

Carroll Rosenbloom's first season as Rams owner. Losing to to New Orleans and St. Louis didn't help the Rams playoff chances or Tommy Prothro's job security
