Hello, i have the same problem. i have a Porsche 993 C2 ( 1995) i change the sensor and the cable NEW , but it doesnt work. do u have an idea? fuse or relay? thanx:)
Did you try plugging the sensor directly to the gauge as I did? My initial thoughts are, if you have a new sensor and a new cable and it still doesn’t work it may be the gauge? A hood hard flick on older gauges can also be effective!
Not sure what is meant by this comment but there was no selling of anything here- just a genuine attempt and success in diagnosing and finding a wiring problem on a 50+ year old car!
