At 1:07 the 66 series with the Wheatland fenders was sweet. A 1466 sold with them at an auction here in June for $17500. I believe the 1066 is the highest horsepower hydro built... I don't think the 1026 is quite as strong nor the 3488 but they are close. The vast majority of IH plows here of that era are 770s. The concept of mounted implements never did catch on here and here few 66 series tractors came with 3 point hitches. at 2:55, that's a very typical tractor cultivator set up here. 55 chisel plows are great. my great uncle bought one brand new and a 706. We have both the tractor and the 55. Of course they use some older pictures too. the single 620 grain drill has a Farmall 1026 Hydro up front, or a Farmall 1456, but I think it's the 1026. This has a real mix of the 66 series tractors and 56 series tractors, but there's more... The 75 trailing type swather has a 460 Wheatland tractor up front. The wide fender kit on utility tractors were only available on the 350 and 460 tractors and they called them wheatlands (although the serial plates say 350 or 460 Utility.) No wonder you paid up for that. It is a nice one!
Yes , They were meant to compete with the Massey 1155 . But they had to turn up the rpms to get the power out of them . Also they would run on 4 cylinders at idol and all 8 when they needed the extra power. Way before Cadillac
