I can’t count the number of rust repair jobs, I did in the 80’s and 90’s because this trash screen was missing, rust never sleeps! It spreads, leaves and junk down there will assist to rot out the fenders. Thanks David!!

Thanks but my 84 K25 has a painted cowl panel above this piece… it’s not attached to the hood like shown in the video. How does that piece remove to clean underneath???
@codyblack5490
@codyblack5490 Месяц назад
Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I'm pretty sure unscrew the front screws that attach to the screen and hood hing brackets the cowl should pull forward the back part is pinned into the cowl should pop off. This was probably ten years ago I removed mine and just now trying to reinstall a new one but can't buy or find the pins that go into the cowl.

My brother has a 70’ Chevy truck, he is trying to get it inspected but the windshield wipers get stuck in the vents. Is there an easy way to fix that?
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Год назад
Remove them and reposition them higher so they never come close to the vents.
@jensen_z
@jensen_z Год назад
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Firstly thank you for responding. However I believe there was a miscommunication on my end. When they start out they are higher then when they shut off. So he would need to reposition them every time they are used.
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV Год назад
@@jensen_z the motor has a "parked" position, so you'll need to determine where that ultimately is and adjust from there. If the park position is somehow random then you likely need a new motor.

I have one in my garage but can’t get the cowl off without removing the hood :(

@@baggedhemi what's keeping you from removing the trash shield?
@baggedhemi
@baggedhemi Год назад
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV I need an additional 1/2” to 1” of clearance to remove the cowl panel. I figure the best thing is to just remove the hood.
@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV

@@baggedhemi yep, sounds like that might be the only option.
