1973 Kawasaki S1 250 A Mach I - ON BOARD 

Watched a video of a guy in the UK, Millyard Kawasaki i think it was. take 2 Kawasaki S1 bottom ends & turn it into a 4 cylinder. The guys skills are insane. Built everything put it in a frame & rides it. Got loads of motor cycle videos to watch of his but a haven't got over that one yet!

A fast two-stroke going up through the gears is a wonderful sound.

My first Kawasaki, I was fourteen in 1975 when my Dad bought me a used one.

I'm glad you like it and I'm kind of taken by your compliments, that was just a quick little resto I did on that bike not even a 10-point nut and bolt, so I guess with your reaction I did pretty good job. I sold it to Mac from New Hope along with two parts bikes only because after I finished it I never rode it, it's just too small and to slow especially when you have 4 H2's two Rz500's and an Ns400r 😁

Kawasaki gradually detuned the KH250 as the years progressed. The original top speed of 92 MPH was cut back to 88 MPH by the time the KH250 B4 the final model KH250 B5 in 1981. For those with a B4 & B5 the performance nerfing is via a metal airflow flow restriction tube inside the OEM airbox. I've removed this airbox tube on a KH250 B5 for a client back in the 1990's.

2 hours ago I saw exactly this maschine. It was running von April 74 till November 74. And then storaged till today. 8500 km. Everything original. 😍

Those stunningly gorgeous Kawasaki triples were some of the most desirable bikes ever made! I lusted for this model when I was 16, but had to settle for a Raleigh Chopper, LOL (my dad forbade me to ride a motorcycle)!

Its a shame you guys never got the Suzuki X7 over there. The best and most bonkers 250 of the 1970,s. 128kg ( 282 lb) 30 bhp 101 mph timed, 0-60mph 7.9 secs 1/4 mile 14.8 sec. The weight of a 125cc over 50lb lighter than the rd250 DX. Released in April 1978 it was the bike for 17year olds. It also dominated production bike racing until the lc250 came along. A tuned version worked on by a magazine in the UK clocked 118.73mph and 13 sec 1/4 mile with out radical tuning. Search the micron in motorcycle mechanics and The Biker magazines. It also took the 250 and 350 cc speed records in 1982. Was up for sale at £8500. A recent add for an unregistered X7 never used was for £10000. Average restored anything from £3000 to £5000.

Beautiful bike Kaplan boys once again!! , i had a 78 one of these as my get to work ride about the same time i had a Yz490. Just the sound alone was music at revvs. It had a big downside, ...well a few, a gas guzzler, it ate plugs (prob my fault) , not the bike. It had a massive front brake delay in the wet (later disc model) but when it ran good it was Amazing. The neigbours hated it because it came with 3 Allspeed expansions. BUT FUN! with NO other earthly sound like it. Ran out of fuel a lot tho.

wow, never knew this bike existed. Just the 500 and 750. There are so many cool bikes that never made it to America or were not heavily advertised.

If that doesn't sound like rocks in the exhaust I don't know what does! Very unique two stroke sound.

That bike reminds me of a bad guy bank robber on chips ponch and John be chasing that bike on ther kz s and the guy on that bike have a bubble face shield with a metal flake helmet he'd get away at the beginning but he'd crash at the end chips was sponsored buy Kawi and mopar sweet bike
