I've revived a few efi vehicles from 15-20+ years of sitting. Sensors and whatnot don't really go bad from sitting as long as the hood has been shut from the elements. As long as rodents haven't gone crazy they'll usually fire right up. Almost guaranteed the fuel pump is dead and tank is rusty, but that's typical.

The rocker nuts will loosen up over time and cause a lifter tap sometimes. If you pull the valve covers while it is running and loosen each individual nut till it starts tapping, then tighten it 3/4 of a turn or until it stops tapping, you can fix it sometimes. If it keeps tapping even when fully tightened you can get a slightly longer push rod to compensate and fix the problem. Nice car. That's the grande model. I have a 72 coupe with a 302.

You never disappoint. Didn't know a person could move that quick just for a few bees. HAHA Love your videos keep them coming. This one should be a shirt , car and cow both on one for the Moostang.

Drives me NUTS that so many of you are finding all these cool cars in the oddest places. I wouldn't even have bothered trying to start it. I would have hauled it right into my shop lol

I find it so satisfying to watch you 😉 and what you do. Just recently discovered you and I'm obsessed!!! I have always enjoyed seeing something a little seasoned, and age come back to life. I find the smell of fuel, exhaust, and sweat arousing. Keep on doing what you do and I'll keep on watching. Nothing like a man that knows his way around an engine. 😘

Oh man, I loved it, it was as if I was next to you in real time, the cows, the donkeys, the wasps... all this happens when you are in the field and you haven't mowed it. One of the best rescue videos I have seen in a long time. Greetings from a Spaniard from Germany.
