I have a 75 Regal Colonnade Coupe, that has a few minor changes compared to 73/74 models, before it was more or less completely redesigned on the outside for 76. Thanks a lot for posting this amazing footage.
i remember the one our family had as a kid, for some reason, it wasnt possible to fit the spare wheel on the rear wheels, oh and me and my sisters had absolute fun poking holes in the speaker grill on the dash. The pea puke green was a lovely color too!
I still own a 75 Regal (they silently dropped the "Century" during that year to use it again later for a different car). Mine is with colors the other way around than your aunt's was. White with red vynil top. Might like your aunt's combination better, but love mine too...
😅😅😅.....believe it or not this was the first car I ever had and it was a 4 dr!! My parents gave it to me as an 18 yr old car when I started to drive back in '90. Drove that car for about 6yrs and you would not believe how great of an engine and trans that car had. Soooooo dependable!! Wasn't considered cool by anyone but it took me from town to town for years and only failed one night when the points messed up. I was lucky to find a mechanic who came to our aide and with a quick adjustment got me and my co workers back in the road!!
Two comments. !st: When I was at a community college in 1988 a girl I knew had one of these and by this time the car was a sh&tbox. Embarrasing styling and way too big like a dinosaur and covered in rust. 2: Watching this video was like trying to watch one of the first films from 1919. Pretty bad quality. Must be off a VCR tape that sat in a box for 20 plus years
